Finding the Flight Path

A pilot sets out for a destination 1000 km away at a 45 degree angle North of East,  but quickly discovers that due to a wind of 75 km/h blowing at 70 degree South of East, an adjustment will need to be made to maintain the course. What must be the plane's velocity with respect to the wind if it is to arrive at its destination in 2.5 hours?
 

a) Write the vector equation for the velocity of the plane with respect to the wind. (1 mark)
